Sudden Cardiac Death in the young support Group offers support in the following way:
The group’s services include:
• Facilitating people who have suffered a similar loss to contact each other through our informal support network.
• Assisting people to get in touch with accredited bereavement counsellors.
• Facilitating access to medical information on heart problems.
• Directing affected families to cardiac screening centres.
• Linking people to other Irish Heart Foundation support groups (Cardiomyopathy, Long QT Syndrome and Implantable Defibrillator (ICD) support groups).
