It is estimated that 1-2 fit apparatently healthy young people die from an undiagnosed heart condition such as SADS  every week in Ireland.

 The Family Screening Clinic in Heart House, Mater Hospital, Dublin screens the relatives of those who died, to prevent more needless deaths. There is no state funding- it is run on voluntary donations. Please help.

Over the last four years the appeal has focussed on raising awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome and raising money for a Family Heart Screening Clinic based in Heart House on Eccles Street.

Every February for one week an army of volunteers take to the streets and shopping centres of Ireland to sell red heart badges. They need volunteers so if you have just 2 hours to spare to help sell badges please contact them Alternatively if you think your school or work place could help with fundraising during this special week get in touch.- Thank you
